Hong Kong — Bitcoin Asia 2026 opens at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai on August 27 and 28, with the full agenda published and Changpeng Zhao added to the lineup on August 3. Organizer BTC Inc expects more than 10,000 attendees, and this year it has built a dedicated business program around the main stages, which makes the two days as useful for companies raising capital as for people who come for the keynotes.

Who is speaking at Bitcoin Asia 2026
The organizer's headliners are Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, Network School founder Balaji Srinivasan and Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich. BTC Inc announced Zhao on August 3, the day it released the full two-day agenda. He speaks Thursday afternoon on the Nakamoto Stage, the main stage, in The Bitcoin Century.
The first wave of names, announced in June, set the range of the program: Dr. Johnny Ng of Hong Kong's Legislative Council, who gives the opening-morning keynote; Bilal Bin Saqib, Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority; Bitget CEO Gracy Chen; TRON founder Justin Sun; and David Bailey, CEO and Chairman of Nakamoto Inc. What is new at Bitcoin Asia 2026
The biggest addition is on the business side. In a July 27 release, BTC Inc laid out an institutional program that shares one floor of the HKCEC on August 27:
- Deal Day, an invitation-only day of pre-scheduled 30-minute meetings between Bitcoin companies and banks, funds and research analysts. BTC Inc ran the format at Bitcoin 2026 in Las Vegas and is bringing it to Hong Kong.
- The Bitcoin for Corporations Symposium, a day of sessions on treasury strategy, governance, capital formation and custody.
There is also something for collectors. BMAG, the arts division of BTC Inc, will debut a Trading Card Expo on the conference floor, with a vendor marketplace, tournaments with Bitcoin prizes, live pack openings and on-site grading.
Treasury companies and regulators set the themes
BTC Inc says the programming centers on the meeting of Eastern and Western Bitcoin markets, with sessions on monetary policy, corporate treasury strategy, infrastructure and regulation across Asia.
Treasury companies get the most stage time. Gerovich speaks on Friday under the title The First Asian Cycle, and a Friday panel called The Bitcoin Treasury Reckoning puts American Bitcoin Corp. CEO Michael Ho next to executives from Bitplanet and Treasury. Policy runs from Thursday's Hong Kong keynote to a Friday session on special economic zones with Bin Saqib and Invest Hong Kong's King Leung. Brian Roberts of HKEX takes a session on what exchange-traded funds have done for Bitcoin as an asset class.
The Genesis Stage opens Thursday with a block of Chinese-language panels, and the Open Source Hub runs hands-on workshops both days.
How to attend Bitcoin Asia 2026
Passes come in three levels: General Admission, GA+ and the Whale Pass. BTC Inc's July 27 release listed GA+ at $187; it adds the Deal Flow Zone, in-app meeting scheduling and priority main stage seating. The Symposium requires a GA+ or Whale Pass, and Deal Day is by application.
