How the three days of Consensus Hong Kong 2026 run

The conference floor is open for two of the three days. Tuesday, February 10 is the institutional day: the invitation-based Hong Kong Institutional Summit hosted by Consensus x SALT takes place at the Grand Hyatt, early pass pick-up runs at the convention center from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and the official opening party starts at 7:00 pm in Central.

The stages and the exhibition floor run on Wednesday, February 11 and Thursday, February 12. The official agenda places four summits on two stages: the Future of Finance Summit and the AI and Robotics Summit on February 11, then the Global Bitcoin Summit and the Asia Macro Summit on February 12. Deep dives on tokenization, stablecoins, privacy and trading fill a third stage. Dates and coverage are on the Consensus Hong Kong 2026 conference page.

Who is on the Consensus Hong Kong 2026 program

CoinDesk's first full lineup release, issued on January 26, counted more than 100 speakers. They include Lily Liu, president of the Solana Foundation; Richard Teng, co-CEO of Binance; Justin Sun, founder of TRON; Peter Mintzberg, CEO of Grayscale Investments; and Ella Zhang, head of YZi Labs. Earlier announcements added Tom Lee of Fundstrat, Bullish CEO Tom Farley and Animoca Brands co-founder Yat Siu.

The agenda also lists a keynote from the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong SAR, Paul Chan Mo-po, and a fireside with Julia Leung, CEO of the Securities and Futures Commission. The organizer's speaker list is still growing, and our guide to the speakers picks twelve to plan around.

What is new for the second edition

The clearest change is size. The organizer says the 2026 edition takes the convention center's largest floor, and it reported that the 2025 debut generated an estimated HK$275 million for the local economy.

Several programs sit around the main stages:

  • Solana Accelerate APAC, a full-day conference on February 11 at the same venue, with more than 45 sessions listed on the Solana event page
  • The EasyA Consensus Hackathon, with demos and awards on February 12
  • CoinDesk PitchFest, a startup competition with its finals on the main stage
  • The Consensus Cup, an evening at Happy Valley Racecourse on February 11 for badge holders
  • Guided tours of Shenzhen's tech ecosystem, listed in the organizer's release

The themes: institutions, stablecoins and machines

The January release names five themes: institutional adoption, DeFi, stablecoins, robotics, and the point where AI agents meet onchain execution. Announced sessions include Tokenizing the Planet, on real-world assets, and Ethereum Next Steps, on scaling and user experience. In practice, February 11 leans toward finance, policy and AI, and February 12 toward Bitcoin, Asian markets and founders.

How to attend: tickets, registration and side events

Registration is through the official site. Passes are sold in tiers: Pro, Platinum and Piranha, plus a Startup Package. Prices rise in stages as the event approaches, so check the current figure before budgeting.

The organizer projects more than 350 side events across the city during the week. Most run on Luma with host approval, and the official evenings require a Consensus badge. Our guide to the side events shortlists the ones worth the travel time.
